Identity Dance Company offers crew placements across Junior, Varsity and Adult divisions, with auditions held at the beginning of each new year.
The IDCO Crew Training Programme is designed to develop dancers not only as performers, but as artists, leaders and individuals. Our programme provides high-level training, mentorship and performance opportunities locally, nationally and internationally, with the goal of helping dancers reach their fullest potential both in and out of the studio.
At IDCO, we believe dance is more than movement — it is a vehicle for confidence, discipline, creativity, teamwork and personal growth. Our crews train in an environment that balances high-performance expectations with strong values of respect, support and community, creating a safe and family-oriented space where dancers can challenge themselves while feeling empowered and supported.
Alongside technical and creative development, we place strong emphasis on the importance of nutrition, physical wellness, fitness and recovery as part of a dancer’s overall growth. We are passionate about helping our dancers develop healthy habits, strong routines and a mindset that supports longevity, resilience and peak performance. Our goal is to nurture individuals who understand how to take care of their bodies, support their teammates and carry positive habits into all areas of life.
Throughout the year, crew members may take part in a wide range of opportunities including video shoots, creative intensives, in-house battles, workshops with international artists, crew bonding experiences and company events. Dancers may also have the opportunity to represent IDCO through local performances, national events and international competitions, showcases or industry experiences.
Being part of an IDCO crew means becoming part of a community that is passionate about pushing boundaries, supporting one another and contributing to the continued evolution of street dance culture.
